Children, Youth and Families at Risk (CYFAR) Program

Includes comprehensive, intensive, community-based programs to promote building resiliency and protective factors in youth, families, and communities. CYFAR also promotes the use of technology to improve programs, provide efficient access to educational resources, and provide essential technological skills for youth and adults in at-risk environments.

National Center for Safe and Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE) Training Toolkits

Provides three toolkits trainers can use to foster safe and supportive learning environments: (1) Creating Safe and Respectful Environments in Our Nation’s Classrooms assists teachers in preventing and intervening in bullying behavior in the classroom; (2) Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment on Our Nation’s School Buses assists school bus drivers in preventing and intervening in bullying behavior on school buses; (3) Get Smart, Get Help, Get Safe assists specialized instructional support staff in preventing and addressing teen dating violence.

Compilation of National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Resources Related to Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge Program

Compiles a list of NAEYC online resources arranged according to application selection criteria intended to guide states as they complete their applications. The resources range from web pages to briefs and reports to position statements.
