National Bullying Prevention Month

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. This national observance raises awareness of the importance of preventing bullying of people in all ages and stages of life. It’s a time to recognize ways to put an end to bullying and remind ourselves that the end of bullying begins with all of us.

PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center founded National Bullying Prevention Month in 2006. Since then, communities nationwide have commemorated the month by uniting to raise awareness of bullying and bullying prevention.1

Anti-bullying efforts are not limited to October. Look for ways to continue to raise awareness and find ways to help prevent bullying all year round. Search for #StopBullying365 on Facebook or Twitter and join the movement today. Together, we can put an end to bullying.
