Through Project LAUNCH, Pohnpei State in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) will enhance the existing health, behavioral health, and social service systems for young children from birth to 8 years of age and their families. The mission of the FSM–Pohnpei Project LAUNCH is to strengthen the collaborative system that supports early child wellness and implement culturally competent promotion and prevention strategies through (1) young child wellness collaboration; (2) screening, referral, and assessment; (3) family engagement and strengthening; (4) staff/workforce development; and (5) public awareness.
