Emily Morgan, senior policy analyst from the Council of State Government’s Justice Center, will facilitate a discussion on the changing landscape around school accountability requirements and best practices in data collection and application, including the Justice Center’s guidance in its National School Discipline Consensus Report. Representatives from community exemplar sites in California (Noah Bookman, Chief Accountability Officer, CORE Districts) and Georgia (Garry W. McGiboney, Ph.D., Deputy Superintendent, Georgia Department of Education) will share their respective approaches to drive performance improvement and resource allocation.
