Please join us on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00–3:30 PM ET (11-12:30 PT; 12-1:30 MT; 1-2:30 CT) for the Getting Started OLE #6: Strategic Planning for Effective Implementation. In the first year of LAUNCH funding, grantees are expected to conduct a Strategic Plan as a part of their planning process. Strategic planning for Project LAUNCH is an opportunity to take the Environmental Scan data and turn it into an action plan, working with a range of stakeholders to develop a common vision for your LAUNCH grant.  It’s also a time to build new partnerships across your state, territory, tribe, or community.

Prior to the OLE, please review the Strategic Plan Online Learning Module (OLM). This self-paced, interactive learning experience provides an overview of the Strategic Plan, including SAMHSA’s expectations for the content and format of the Plan and lessons learned from other grantees about the process. You can access the learning module through this link: http://www.healthysafechildren.org/learning-portal

Following your review of the module, the Resource Team will hold a live event on January 12th to discuss the Strategic Plan in detail, respond to your questions, and provide an opportunity for you to talk with other LAUNCH grantees.
